This project was the second penthouse entrusted to Forward Architects by the same client. The brief was to exploit the 180 degree views from the duplex and to maximise the space provided to create a contemporary three bedroom residence. Selection of furniture, fittings and furnishings were also part of the firm’s scope, allowing the furnished result to show clear design continuity with the finishes palette.
Living areas are located on the upper level, with private sleeping quarters below. An open staircase connects the two levels, creating an unexpected and striking vertical aspect to the open sea views ahead and below, making the space feel like it is, literally, on the water.
